COVID-19: UK to undergo Freezing temperature as pub beer gardens reopen after lockdown in England
England is all set to have a chilly return to pubs today, with a snowy, sleet and very low temperatures forecast for most of the parts of the UK.
While the northern parts of England will stay bright this morning, the southern half is facing rain, snow and showers during the day, with flurries seen in west London, as well as readings in Berkshire, Sevenoaks, Kent and various parts of Oxfordshire already.
The easing of restrictions today has seen reopening of pubs, outdoor dining areas, non-essential shops, hairdressers, indoor gyms, swimming pools, nail salons and zoos with welcoming customers for the first time after a year in 2021.
UK PM Boris Johnson has advised all UK citizens to “behave responsibly” as pubs have started serving again. While there are minimal restrictions and people can enjoy meeting outside, indoor gatherings rules are still strict in England.
Near about 40% of the adult population in UK are still to receive the first dose of a COVID vaccination, and only 7.5 million have had both.
While people in England are all set to enjoy the pub today, other parts of the UK will have to wait a little longer.
